Union Ministry Given Another Shock To China By Banning Chinese Products

The issue of the Indo-China border dispute has now reached the plains. The Indian government began to show strictness, and now many ministries have also started boycotting Chinese goods. The latest case is of the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public. It has now been decided to ban all Chinese products in the Ministry.

Union Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said that no Chinese goods would come in his department anymore, and a circular has been issued in this regard. Apart from this, different products will also be tested to the standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

After this decision of the Union Food Minister, the sugar products will not be included in the purchases made by the Ministry and the departments and organizations under the Ministry. Organizations like Food Corporation of India (FCI) and Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) also come under the Union Food Ministry.

It has been said in the circular of the ministry that no item made in China will be purchased from the GEM portal or anywhere else. The Union Minister said that rules are being made to examine foreign goods on standards. These rules will apply not only to China but also to all products coming from abroad.

He said that just as Indian goods are tested abroad in the same way, different products will be tested on the same standards.

Let it be said that after the border dispute with China, many government departments have broken agreements with Chinese companies. These include Indian Railways, Ministry of National Highways, and BSNL. Chinese companies will lose millions of dollars due to the strict attitude of the government.
