The Wait Is Over Rafale Land On Indian Soil At Ambala.

Rafale In India: The first batch of five Rafale fighter jets from France has entered the Indian airspace and will land at the IAF Air Force Station in Ambala. The fighter jet was welcomed by Indian Navy warship INS Kolkata stationed in the Arabian Sea.

Shortly after taking flight from the United Arab Emirates, the Indian Rafale made contact with the Indian Navy warship INS Kolkata, stationed in the Western Arabian Sea. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s office said that two Sukhoi 30 MKIs are supporting them. Air Chief Marshal Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria will receive the fleet at Ambala.

The five fighter jets, flown by Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots, will arrive here after flying 7,000 km with air-to-air refueling and single stops in the United Arab Emirates. The aircraft will be officially inducted into the Indian Air Force in August.

A security arrangement was made by the police around the Air Force Station at the Air Force’s request to prevent any photography and videography of the aircraft’s movement. Apart from this, Section 144 has also been installed in four villages of Ambala air base. India had purchased 36 Rafale fighter jets from Dassault for an estimated Rs 58,000 crore through an agreement signed in 2016.
