An encounter between security forces and militants took place on Saturday morning in the Nipora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district. The security forces have killed two terrorists. According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the area is being searched.
Officer, the security forces had received inputs about protecting the terrorists. A search operation was handled in the area as a joint operation
The officer said that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which punishment was taken. In this encounter, security forces managed to kill two terrorists.
Another police officer said, “A joint team of police, 19 RR and CRPF of the army conducted a siege and conducted a search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area. As soon as the joint team of security forces cordoned the suspect’s house ,
The terrorists hiding in that residential house opened fire on the search party, they were killed in retaliation. The officer said that the hidden terrorists were given full opportunity to surrender, but they did not do so.
