17 Years Record Breaking Truce Violation by Pakistan Army in just 9 Months across LoC

Attending the Parliament on Monday, Minister of State for Defense Shripad Naik said that 3,186 occurrences of ceasefire violations were accounted for along the LoC in Jammu locale between January 1 and September 7. 

“Additionally, 242 episodes of cross-border terminating have happened along India-Pak International Border in Jammu locale this year (January 1 to August 31, 2020),” the Naik said. 

The Mos Defense affirmed that eight Army staff had been executed and two others harmed in the ceasefire violations related episodes till September 7. The Border Security Force (BSF), which monitors the International Border, saw 5 non-deadly losses. 

The clergyman said that the Indian Army and the BSF have unequivocally fought back to the Pakistani side’s ridiculous incitement. 

“Fitting counter to the ceasefire violations, as required, has been completed by Indian Army/BSF,” the minister said. 

The MoS said the ceasefire violations incidents had been taken up with Pakistan authorities through the hotline, banner gatherings, and talks between the Director-General of Military Operations of both the nations. 

Regardless of the COVID pandemic, the threatening neighbor depends on the wrong terminating on the border. The ceasefire violations by Pakistan are an attempt by the Pakistani Army to help understand terrorists into the Indian side.

Ladakh stalemate: India, China consent to de-raise strain
