PM Modi took many historical decisions in his working Tenure, Let’s have a look
Removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir remained in the series of Article 370 for 70 years. On 5 August last year, the Modi government released Kashmir from Article 370. With this, all those laws of the country came into force in Jammu and Kashmir, which could not be completed for 70 years.
Along with removing the separate flag of Jammu and Kashmir, now the tricolor started waving in the government offices there. With the breaking of the restrictions of Article 370, the people of Jammu and Kashmir now started getting the benefit of the useful schemes of the Central Government, from which the people of Kashmir were denied for many years.
End of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Dispute
The Ayodhya dispute was resolved in the country’s first legal dispute, the Ayodhya dispute, in the first six months of the Modi government. Lord Rama got involved in the court’s action for years, got justice from the Supreme Court, and on 9 November 2019, the Supreme Court’s historic decision considered Ramjanmabhoomi as the place of birth of Ram in Ayodhya.
Following the court’s order, the Modi government formed the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust. With the formation of the pilgrimage area, the construction of a grand Ram temple has started in Ayodhya.
Zero tolerance on terrorism
Changed the role of the country in the Modi government. On the issue of terrorism, the country has now learned to give a befitting reply rather than bear it. The surgical strike at the terrorist base in Pakistan in 2016 was the first example of this. After this, by an airstrike in Balakot in 2019, once again, the message of a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism was given to the terrorists and the country that keeps them. The demolition of the launch pad at PoK in October last year is also evidence of zero tolerance. The decrease in terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir in the recent past is proof of the new India’s resolving power.
The challenges for Prime Minister Narendra Modi are not over. There are more challenges ahead, which the government has to face in the next 4 years.
