Telangana Starts 40 Trains For A Day For 1 Week To Relocate Labors To Their Home

In an essential help for transient laborers abandoned in various parts of Telangana, the state government has said 40 different trains would be conveyed every day for a multi-week starting Tuesday to ship them to their local places in states, including Bihar and West Bengal.

These trains will begin from different stations in the city, Warangal, Khammam, and Ramagundam among different spots, a discharge from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s office said late on Monday night, declaring the enormous clearing exercise amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The goals of these trains will be different places in Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, it stated, three days after the first such exceptional train conveying 1,200 specialists was worked from Telangana to Hatia in Jharkhand after the Railways consented to the solicitation of the state government.

The Railways has declared the activity of “Shramik Special” trains to send the transient laborers.

Rao held a survey meeting with senior authorities on the hardships being looked at by the workers, abandoned in various pieces of the state.

“The CM had decided to run specific trains for the migrant workers to reach their destination. The CM spoke to SC Railway General manager Shri Gajanan Mallya and requested him to arrange for 40 special trains from Tuesday,” the release said.

State Nodal official Sandeep Kumar Sultania and Additional DG of police Jitender have been selected as exceptional officials to administer the arrival of the abandoned specialists, the discharge said. 

Numerous laborers have just enrolled their names to go to their local places by the exceptional trains. The Chief Minister advanced them not to be upset as his administration was making essential courses of action.
