Breaking old songs and changing them and presenting them to the public again is called a remix version of the song. But after the songs are remixed, the original composer and lyrics writer of the songs have started getting objections. Recently Lyrics writer Sameer Anjan has told about this.

But after the songs are remade, the ORIGINAL composer and Lyricist of the songs have started getting complaints. Recently The Famous Lyricist Sameer Anjan talk and expresses about this concept
“Sameer says that he objected that the original author is never credited in the remix songs Neither do they get money for that. He says that he will talk to Javed Akhtar about this and will knock the door of the court. Sameer is so upset with this that he has decided to take up the matter directly in court.
Sameer is all ready to filing this PTI into this Court. Sameer also said, ‘What is happening is not right. We are completely against it and we are planning to go to court to fight against it. We have given them (music companies) rights to a particular film, but they are preparing a remix of it, using songs in different films. I have talked to Javed Akhtar because he is the head of IPRS and we are all thinking about going to court.
Sameer says, “This is the only solution, otherwise they will not stop it.” Let me tell you, Sameer’s Dilbar Dilbar song was remade by Bhushan Kumar-led T series in John Abraham’s 2019 film Batla House. On this, Sameer said, “He gave credit to Shabbir Ahmed, who has written only two lines of the beginning. The rest was my original work. How will future generations know who is its original author? ‘
Further, Sameer also told that music companies do not give them even one rupee. recently, similar controversies had also risen regarding two remix songs. Recently released song ‘Maskali 2.0′ and Badshah and Jacqueline’s song ‘Genda Phool’. AR Rahman himself has opposed the song Masakali. He has not loved this song at all.
