This modern age rom com sees Rachel Chu based in New York head to Singapore to meet her boyfriend’s family. Comedy unravels as she reaches Singapore.
5. If Beale Street Could Talk
This Oscar winning movie is about a young couple who fights for their future after he’s arrested for a crime he didn’t commit.
6. Pride & Prejudice
We all have that one favourite Jane Austen’s most famous novel, but mine has to be the 2005 version with Matthew Macfayden as Mr. Dary. He strides across the meadow to tell Keira Knightley “You have bewitched me body and soul”. How romantic!
7. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
This netflix original was a rage in 2018. If you haven’t seen this cute movie starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, follow it up with the sequel.
8. Bridget Jones’s Diary
If you’re a sucker for classics, this rom-com inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is an excellent movie to watch.
9. The Notebook
One of the most loved classic love stories of all times. The Notebook is about Allie and Noah as they are distanced by war and class.
10. Hitch
Dr. Date goes against his own rules after he meets a woman who could actually be the one. Interesting huh?
11. When Harry Met Sally
This romantic comedy is like a love letter to New York in all its seasons. Set in Brooklyn and Manhattan, it follows the relationship between Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) who first meet on a post-college road trip and eventually become lovers. If you’re obsessed with Meg Ryan, some other classics that you can binge on are Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail.
12. Casablanca
Casablanca is definitely a must-see movie for all lovers. Its about a club owner who must decide whether to help former flame and her husband escape the Nazis in French Morocco. A classic definitely!

This is a sweet sweet movie about a man trying to win the heart of a woman who suffers from short-term memory loss.
14. Say Anything
This is classic rom com from the ‘80s about two high schoolers who try to make their relationship work despite her father’s non approval. Drama, romance, comedy, perfect for a movie night, right?
15. Blue Valentine
A modern day couple travels through time to the golden age of romance hoping to fall back in love. Starring Ryan Gosling (don’t we love him!) and Michelle Williams, this movie is quite a watch!

This move gets my eyes flowing non-stop. Starring Hillary Swank, a grieving widow who finds a series of notes from her late husband. Omg! He left letters from the beyond!
17. Never Been Kissed
Drew Barrymore is certainly one of my favorite rom-com heroines ever! Makes it worth a watch? Hell, yes!
18. While You Were Sleeping
Sandra Bullock, who pretends to be engaged to a man in a coma, accidentally falls in love with his brother! Say, what? Certainly a lot of drama here!
19. My Best Friend’s Wedding
In love with your BFF and trying to sabotage his upcoming wedding? This movie starring Julia Roberts is still unforgettable 20 years later.
20. 10 Things I Hate About You
Even if you’ve seen this flick about reluctant foes who eventually fall in love dozens of times, it’s too good to not watch again.
