Vicky Kaushal lived in Chawl

born in Mumbai on 16 May 1988, Vicky Kaushal’s father Shyam Kaushal has been an action director while mother Veena Kaushal was a housewife. Vicky also has a younger brother who is an assistant director. In the early days, Vicky used to live with his family in a chawl in Mumbai. His father was a stuntman at the time. 

Vicky was very fond of dancing and acting since childhood. You might not know that Vicky is also a trend dancer. Vicky was studying engineering before becoming an actor. Vicky is an electronics and telecommunications engineer by profession. In 2009, he completed his graduation from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology in Mumbai. After this he stepped into the Bollywood world.

Was rejected for acting

After completing his engineering, Vicky got many job offers but he was not interested in doing the job, so he refused to do the job. After this, Vicky took admission in the acting school of ‘Kishore Namit Kapoor’ and learned acting from there. Vicky was fond of acting since childhood. Even Vicky participated in many competitions including dancing.

This film changed Vicky’s fortunes

Vicky’s luck changed when he made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Masaan’. Vicky received the Best Male Debut Actor Award for this film. Vicky did such tremendous acting in the first film that he settled in everyone’s hearts and minds. After Masaan, Vicky worked in more than one film and never looked back. Recently Vicky has given two hits ‘Sanju’ and ‘Raazi’. She has received the Best Supporting Performance Award for Sanju.
