Actress Rhea Chakraborty‘s dad, Indrajit Chakraborty, announced the arrest of his 24-year-old son Showik Chakraborty in a test into allegations of drug abuse surrounding Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise in June.
“Congrats, India, you have arrested my child; I’m sure next on the line is my daughter, and I don’t have a clue who is next after that. You have well broken a middle-class family. Obviously, for equity, everything is legitimized. Jai Hind,” the announcement from Lt Col Indrajit Chakraborty (Retd), who has additionally been addressed by the CBI for a considerable length of time, perused.
Showik Chakraborty was arrested on Friday by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB and Samuel Miranda, Sushant Singh’s home supervisor, and accused of different enemies’ different drug law areas. Both have been sent to the office’s custody till Wednesday.
No drug has been seen on Showik Chakraborty yet. Until this point, the NCB’s case depends on the revelation of 59 grams of curated Maryjane from two men identified as Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora and the connections they supposedly had with those near Sushant Singh.
In its petition seeking Mr. Chakraborty custody, the NCB said he must “given so many names with whom he was dealing in drugs” and will now be faced with his sister Rhea Chakraborty. She has been summoned for questioning today.
Different points containing the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, are being tested by three government offices, including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED), and the NCB.
Under severe media glare for almost three months that spiked after Sushant Singh’s dad blamed Rhea Chakraborty for driving him to self-destruction, the main captures for the situation so far have started from the edge of medications ownership.
Addressing Live Heed a month ago, Rhea Chakraborty also discussed the importance of exploring three separate offices and the criticism by a media segment. The “witch-chase,” she stated, was obliterating a “basic, blameless, white-collar class family.”
Before sharing a video on Instagram, she had given her dad a retired military expert, being mobbed and pursued by columnists outside Mumbai’s home. The actress looked for security for her and her family from Mumbai Police to help out the test organizations.
