Music Composer Wajid Khan Died at 42, Kidney Disease and Report Corona Positive

Music composer,  Wajid Khan passed on at 42 years old in the extremely early times of Monday morning. He was tried positive for the novel coronavirus a couple of days prior, and was experiencing Covid-19

Music writer Salim Merchant, who affirmed the updates on Wajid’s demise, disclosed to PTI that the composer was hospitalized a couple of days prior at Surana Hospital, Chembur where his condition decayed.

“He had multiple issues. He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection… He was on the ventilator for the last four days, after his situation started getting worse. Kidney infection was the beginning and then he got critical,” Salim told .

Aside from films, Wajid, alongside sibling Sajid, additionally filled in as coach on the singing  TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. 

Together, Sajid-Wajid scored the IPL 4 signature melody, Dhoom Dhadaka, which was sung by Wajid. 

Playback singer and composer Vishal Dadlani extended his condolences on the sudden demise of Wajid Khan and tweeted, “Heartbroken. Both @SajidMusicKhan and @wajidkhan7 have been close & true friends. The kind who might see the light on and show up at our studio in the middle of the night just to meet and talk and share a laugh. Can’t believe Wajid and I will never speak again.”

Actor Parineeti Chopra additionally took to Twitter to mourn his passing, “Every music meeting with him was vital.”

“The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh,” Priyanka Chopra said in a tweet.
