Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are supporting Taliban for an attack in Helmand, says top Afghan official.

Top Afghan authority has said that Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) are associated with the fighting.

Tolo News cited a Taliban representative as dismissing the lead representative’s comments. 

A previous Indian knowledge official, who was engaged with following improvements in Afghanistan, said reports recommended the Taliban warriors in Helmand were not heavily influenced by the association’s chiefs associated with the ongoing talks in Doha with the Afghan government.
