Six days after the killing of eight police officers in Bikeru village in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district, close to the main involved of the crime Vikas Dubey, Amar Dubey was killed in an encounter with the Special Task Force (STF) of the police in Hamirpur district on Wednesday morning.
Vikas Dubey’s partner Amar Dubey was killed in an encounter on Ingohata Marg in the Maudha Kotwali area of Hamirpur. The district police killed Mara Amar at around 4 am. Maudha Kotwali, in-charge of Manoj Kumar Shukla, has been injured in the encounter. Amar Dubey was awarded a reward of Rs 25,000. He was involved in the murder of eight police officers by an ambush by miscreants in Bikeru village of Chaubepur police station area last week. An official said that the main accused of this heinous crime, two and a half lakh prize gangster Vikas Dubey is still escaping. Many police teams are looking for him.
Earlier, Vikas Dubey, a two-and-a-half million rupees, who had killed eight personnel, including the DSP of UP police, in Bikaru village of Kanpur, escaped by dodging the police on Tuesday. Development and its henchmen were reported at Srisasaram Oyo Guest House on National Highway Badkhal Chowk. The Crime Branch team also investigated the footage of CCTV cameras, in which the police also captured footage of a man resembling Vikas Dubey.
According to sources, the UP STF also raided Gurugram and along with it in Rajasthan areas in search of development and got blockades. Due to the high profile of the case, no police officer is willing to speak anything about it. The Crime Branch team laid siege to the Srisasaram Oyo Guest House on Tuesday evening. But according to sources, Vikas escaped along with Dubey before the police arrived. According to eyewitnesses, people also heard the sound of firing there. The police have kept silent in this entire case for the time being.
On the other hand, new police officers have also been deployed from the police station line. On Tuesday, the entire Chaubepur police station turned into a factory of Vikas Dubey, DSP Dinesh Kumar P. It includes 68 policemen. Now investigation has also started against all these.
According to the SSP, the investigation found that all the Chaubepur police station policemen are in contact with the crook Vikas Dubey. Therefore all 13 inspectors, 10 head constables, 45 constable lines have been introduced. Each police officer is accused of supporting Vikas Dubey with the information.
Suspended SO Vinay Tiwari was evicted. Light soldiers, including light in-charge, used to visit his body. It was also revealed from the CDR that all are always in touch with development.
