Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opt to bowl first. In Delhi Capital’s batting both regular openers Prithvi Shaw and Dhawan came on the crease and did the great job and made the IPL highest runs in a power play for the team. Prithvi Shaw made 42 runs and Dhawan made 32 runs for the team and after them captain of DC came but did not impress with the bat but Pant (wk) and Stoinis impress everyone. And took the DC team around the 200 score with outstanding batting skills. Pant made 37 runs and Stoinis made his 2nd fifty of the tournament. He made 53 runs with 2 sixes and 6 fours.
On other end, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowler didn’t impress except Washington Sundar. Siraj took 2 wickets with 8.50 bowling economy. Udana and Moeen took 1-1 wickets.
In 2nd Royal Challengers Bangalore Innings Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal came on the crease but didn’t make enough runs and both lose their wicket so early. Whole RCB team didn’t cross 17 individual runs figure except Virat Kohli (c) who made 43 runs in 39 balls.
DC bowlers bowled very well today and took wickets time to time and win the match with 59 runs. Kagiso Rabada bowled his best wickets haul in the IPL and took 4 wickets. Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel took 2-2 wickets.
