Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a digital press conference on Wednesday. On becoming sick, CM Kejriwal’s COVID-19 (COVID-19) test was conducted, after which the report came negative on Tuesday evening. On this, he genuinely thanked those who wished him well. He said during the press conference, “The body was closed in isolation, but the mind was engaged in what else needed to be done.”
At the start of the press conference, Kejriwal said, “There have been 31,000 total cases in Delhi, 12,000 have been healed while around 18000 are still ongoing cases.” About 900 people have died. Out of 18000 active cases, 15000 are in home isolation. DDMA had a meeting recently. I had to go, and I could not go.
Today about 42 hundred beds are empty but most of them are filled in private, mostly in government. If nineteen hundred people get beds, then there will be one and a half hundred people who will have to eat for the beds.
The CM further said in the press conference, “All party members are struggling among themselves. If all the people kept challenging each other, Corona would win. We cannot win continuously. Everyone fights together. All governments and all parties have to work together. Corona will win if they fight among themselves, and if they fight united, they will defeat Corona.
I want to salute the media people. Every day you tell us the shortcomings that remain.
