Terrorists started shooting at a CRPF jawan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian early Friday morning, police said.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police said unidentified Terrorists terminated at a CRPF watch posted at Mini Secretariat in Shopian.
The CRPF jawan, nonetheless, got away from safety. Following this, Terrorists escaped from the spot.
No death toll or injury has been accounted for up until this point, J&K Police said.
In the interim, the region has been cordoned.
The attack comes a day after a CRPF official was killed in an assault by psychological militants in the Budgam region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Terrorists took shots and harmed the Assistant Sub Inspector of the CRPF of 117 forces at Kaisermulla in Budgam locale, a police official said. He said the attackers additionally evacuated with the administration weapon, an AK attack rifle, of ASI N C Badgley.
Badgley capitulated to wounds at the Army’s 92 base emergency clinic at Badami Bagh, the authority said.
