GST can be reduced on two-wheelers, says “Nirmala Sitharaman”.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has confirmed that the amendment in GST rates considerable to two-wheelers might be thought of. In a meeting with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Nirmala Sitharaman said that the two-wheelers are neither a luxury thing nor does it fall in short-lived goods. 

For this situation, its GST rates can be thought of. At present, 28 percent GST (Goods and Service Tax) has been executed on two-wheelers. Which straightforwardly influences the cost of vehicles. If the government slices the GST rates to be applied to two-wheelers, at that point, there might be an immense decrease in vehicles’ cost.

The country’s two-wheeler manufacturers have been ceaselessly requesting from the government that the GST rates ought to be reconsidered. Presently the business has taken a murmur of alleviation from the signs given by Nirmala Sitharaman.
