Finch speaks, “Players don’t mind without having an audience match.”
Finch told Sen. Radio, “I believe we may have to wait a little longer for the T20 World Cup. This tournament can be deferred for one, two, or even three months. We will see the live match soon. Whether it happens to the audience or without them, I don’t believe it will make any difference to the players. We played a match against New Zealand without an audience. It was strange only till the initial 4 or 5 overs, but then all the players got involved in their work.
IPL will hurt everyone
Former Kiwi captain said in the Sky Cricket Podcast, “I don’t want to watch the T20 World Cup without the audience.” Sixteen teams will have to come to Australia for the tournament. Also, their support staff and broadcaster will come. This does not seem to be possible, so the tournament should be held in early 2021. If the IPL is not played, the players and the support staff will suffer a lot, and they will not be paid.” McCullum has scored 2880 runs in 109 matches of the IPL. His best personal score in this is 158 runs.
