The IPL will Start on September 26 to November 8! BCCI Official Said – Can’t Wait Anymore

The cricket has come to a complete halt due to Coronavirus. The IPL has also been delayed frequently. However, international cricket is going to return next month. The Test series will be played between England and West Indies in July.

Despite this, though, it is worried that the T20 World Cup will be held this year. If the World Cup is postponed this year, it will increase the chances of IPL. But the ICC will take the final decision on this.

IPL could start from September 26 with the final on November 8. The temporary date of IPL has come out. Recently, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly

sent a letter to the state associations regarding this suspended IPL session, which made it clear that they are trying to get the IPL done.

According to the Live Heed source, BCCI has been in talks with all the franchises for the last few days. However, after the suspension of the World Cup, work will be done on its temporary date. The ICC met on June 10, and the decision on the World Cup has been admitted, which can be taken in July.

A member of BCCI said that BCCI was not prepared to wait for such a long time. For this reason, as soon as the ICC meeting was over, Ganguly sent a letter to the member associations.

We cannot stop our plans. The ICC has to decide about the T20 World Cup, and we have to decide on our projects. Therefore, the temporary window has been reduced to zero, and we will start preparations according to this window.

We fixed the window for IPL. The next challenge before the BCCI is where to conduct the IPL. No evidence has been given to this. According to IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel, IPL can be organized in an empty stadium. It can be limited to some places. It can also be played outside and can be held without foreign players.
