‘Sarva Dharma Puja’ at the Rafale Induction Ceremony at Ambala Air Base.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and French Defense Minister Florence Parley have arrived at the Indian Air Force Station in Ambala. Five Rafale fighter planes will be officially drafted into the IAF during an occasion here.

These aircraft will join the 17 Squadron at Ambala Air Force Station. The plane will be part of the ‘Golden Arrow.’ These fighters were brought to India from France on 29 July. Rajnath Singh, Florence Parley, CDS General Bipin Rawat, Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria, and Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar will be included in the program to join the Air Force.

Five great features of Rafale

1. Rafale is the fourth generation of the most agile aircraft with a twin-engine, delta-wing, semi-stealth capabilities. This can also lead to a nuclear attack.

2. It also has modern weapons like the 30mm canon with one 2. rounds. It can carry 9,500 kg of goods at one time.

3. In the event of danger, the radar warning receiver, laser warning, and missile approach warning system installed in it becomes alert and prevents the radar from jamming. Rafael’s radar system also detects targets within a radius of 100 km.

4. It has air-to-air missiles like Magic-II, MBDA Mica IR, or EM and MBDA Meteor. They can target targets up to 150 km in the air.

5. There is also the power to hit the ground with the wind. With the arrival of this fighter jet, India’s strength will also increase in the Indian Ocean.

Religious functions start at Ambala air base as Rajnath Singh, French priest Florence Parly, top dignitaries watch. Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh pandits perform ceremonies in the Sarva Dharma Puja in front of the five Rafale contender planes’ acceptance into the Indian Air Force.
