Percy Jackson Series, Hollywood News: If you grew up reading the Percy Jackson books and were painfully disillusioned with the 2010 film adjustment, you’re going to get some sweet equity: a Percy Jackson is being developed at Disney Plus, and writer Rick Riordan will be included “in each part of the show.”
Riordan and his wife Becky announced the news via a Twitter video, tweeting out a more detailed announcement of the project right after.
The possibility of a Disney-helmed Percy Jackson series has been flowing since Disney plus twentieth Century Fox, with Riordan in any event, discussing speculative ventures on his blog.
