The unexpected death of Irfan khan put the whole world in shockwaves

Indian film industry figures on Wednesday paid tribute to Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire star Irrfan Khan, who kicked the bucket at 53 after a profession that spread over arthouse film, standard Bollywood and Hollywood. His last film was Homi Adajania’s satire Angrezi Medium, which discharged in theaters before COVID-19 constrained the total shutdown of film corridors.

  1. Amitabh Bachchan: Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: “…just getting news of the passing of Irrfan Khan… this is most disturbing and sad news… An incredible talent.. a gracious colleague .. a prolific contributor to the World of Cinema .. left us too soon .. creating a huge vacuum. “
  1. Shahrukh Khan: King Khan of Bollywood tweeted, “My friend…inspiration & the greatest actor of our times. Allah blesses your soul Irrfan Bhai…will miss you as much as cherish the fact that you were part of our lives.”
  1.   Aamir Khan: Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood shared “ Very sad to hear about our dear colleague Irrfan. How tragic and sad. Such wonderful talent. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Thank you, Irrfan for all the joy you have brought to our lives through your work. You will be fondly remembered.”
  1. Shabana Azmi, : living legend of Bollywood tweeted: “Deeply saddened to learn that #Irffan Khan passed away this morning. Gone too soon .. such a powerful actor and how valiantly he fought back cancer. It’s a big loss not only to his family but to the entire film industry. RIP.”
  1. Anupam Kher, the Most versatile actor expresses his condolence.  “Nothing can be more heartbreaking and tragic than the news of passing away of a dear friend, one of the finest actors and a wonderful human being #IrrfanKhan,” he tweeted. “Saddest day!! May his soul rest in peace.”

Prime Minister of India Narendra Singh Modi also grievance for the Irfan khan: Irrfan Khan’s demise is a loss to the world of cinema and theatre. He will be remembered for his versatile performances across different mediums. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and admirers. May his soul rest in peace,” the prime minister tweeted. 

India TV Editor-In-Chief and Chairman Rajat Sharma express his dark sadness on twitter called ‘brave’ Irrfan Khan. “Irrfan Khan was not only a good human being but also a very brave one. He fought hard with cancer. Acted in the movie English Medium with great hardships. He will always be remembered,” 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah too expressed distress over Irrfan’s demise. He said Irrfan was an asset to the film industry.
